Bryan Lora was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony.

Being a jailhouse drug dealer was a pain in the butt for one Rockland inmate, according to authorities.

Bryan Lora of New City was selling oxycodone pills to fellow inmates at the Rockland County jail after hiding them in his rectum, authorities said.

Correction officers found about 50 pills after searching Lora and his cell around 9 a.m. Monday, authorities said. Lora told officers he had been selling the pills to other inmates, authorities said.

The Rockland County Sheriff's Office arrested Lora, 25, who was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony, as well as seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree promoting prison contraband, both misdemeanors.

Lora landed in jail last month as one of 22 arrested on drug charges during an undercover operation in Rockland.

Lora was arraigned in the Town of Clarkstown Court and remanded to the county jail, authorities said. He is due back in court on Friday.
