'Divorce' filming in Tarrytown; 'Drunk Parents' in Nyack; Al Pacino in Pleasantville?

Suburbarazzi

Hollywood doesn't let a little thing like sub-zero temperatures stand in the way of a shooting a scene.

On Saturday, the new Sarah Jessica Parker series "Divorce" was filming along Main Street in Tarrytown late into the night. Back in November, the cast and crew took over a bodega on the street and styled it as Parker's character's art gallery. At the time, the production crew brought in some fake snow to make the scene more wintery. No need this week.

Apparently, they needed to reshoot some scenes as the crew returned to the same bodega for a night shoot, reported one resident whose windows faced Main Street. Casting notices for the upcoming HBO series note the need for extras in a scene being shot in Elmsford on Tuesday.

According to Variety, “the half-hour comedy is described as the story of a very, very drawn-out divorce."

Also on Saturday, a fan reported that the pet food aisle was closed down at Key Food in Pleasantville as Al Pacino  filmed into the early morning hours of Sunday. It's been reported that the actor just joined the cast of of  Brian Buckley's "Where The White Man Runs Away," which co-stars Melanie Griffith and "Captain Phillips" star Barkhad Abdi. It's based on a book by Canadian journalist Jay Bahadur’s called "The Pirates of Somalia."

In Rockland County, Alec Baldwin and Salma Hayek were spotted in Nyack this week, filming additional scenes from their  latest, "Drunk Parents," in which they play a couple who gets, well, drunk, after dropping their daughter off at college, which leads to a series of bad decisions. The production filmed scenes back in mid-January in Nyack, and in the Fleetwood section of Mt. Vernon.
