Even though she's one of Twitter's teen queens, Nyack's Hailey Baldwin is still learning about social media sensitivity.

The 17-year-old daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin offended some of her Twitter followers on Wednesday with a tweet about tanning. "Leaving to Florida white and coming back to NY another color," she wrote, throwing in emojis of a white man and a man wearing a turban.

Hailey quickly deleted the tweet after some fans took offense. "I apologize if I offended anyone. Was meant to be a joke," the stunning model/dancer tweeted. "Clearly I wasn't meaning to be racist with my tweet. I was making a joke about getting a tan. Everybody chill."

Like her joke, Hailey's tan didn't turn out well. She tweeted Friday: "Why is it that my whole body is tan but my shoulders, and left foot are sunburnt? #thanksalotTampa."

The last time a tweet by Hailey caused a buzz, she was supporting her celebrity bestie Kylie Jenner after media reports claimed that the famous teen had plastic surgery. "They just don't wanna believe people can be naturally beautiful," Hailey wrote to Kim Kardashian's little sis. "I love you."
