Just got this in from The Cottage Schools:

Entertainment icon LL COOL J gave an inspiring talk to 100  teens boys today at the Pleasantville Cottage Schools which serves at–risk and  vulnerable youth.  It is a part of  Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA), a 192-year-old organization that  serves children and families of all backgrounds.

In his speech to the rapt audience,  he said, “ You may come from a tough life, but you have to believe in yourself.  Don’t limit yourself. Dig deep for what you really want and your dreams can come true.”

According to Michael Spindler, Chief Operating Officer of JCCA, “We are delighted that  our teens could hear from such a shining role model  who values family, education and perseverance.  These are lessons we teach every day.”
