There have been a handful of reports of potential tornadoes in the Lower Hudson Valley that the National Weather Service said it will investigate in the coming days.

Many of the reports are from Putnam and Orange counties and there's been at least one in northern Westchester, according to the National Weather Service.

A tree fell on a house on Lakeshore Drive in Lake Carmel.

Starting Wednesday, the weather service said it will visit potential tornado sites from Port Jervis into Connecticut to decide if they were hit by a tornado.
